Hello everyone,
Last week George got home from the Stroke Clinic at the U of A, and they feel that this episode was probably not a stroke, but rather Bell’s Palsy.
This is much “better” than a stroke, so they are going to schedule George for an MRI and EMG in the future.
We are encouraged at this report, although his face is still quite “crooked.”
We appreciate your prayers and your love, and trust that 2010 is starting out well for you and your loved ones.

Prayer Request
"I wanted to give you some good news that we received the other day. Donna has finished all her treatments as of December and had her first mammogram test just over a week ago. The results came back and the doctors said everything looks great and they have officially discharged her from the care of the Cross Cancer Institute. Today she is going for a heart ultra sound to see what impact the treatments have had on her heart. I can tell you this, Donna is looking better than ever and feeling great.
We are so thankful to Lord for His goodness and to you as well for all your prayers and wonderful support. We would never have made it through without the body of Christ interceding for us.
Please continue to keep us in your prayers. We so appreciate you all."
- Mike Love

Dave and Ila Harris – Please pray for the Harris family. After waiting many months for a doctors’ review panel to decide, Dave and Ila were disappointed to hear that Dave would not be considered as a candidate for a liver transplant. God continues to give Dave strength for ministry despite this debilitating disease. They need our pray support. They pastor our churches at Andrew and Vilna.
Herb Krusch – Former Alberta Credential Holder and PAOC Missionary, Herb needs our prayer as he faces the steady, relentless attack of ALS (Lou Gehrig’s) on his body.

Jeremy and Teresa Feller – Read their great report by using the weblink on the District Newsletter. For those unable to access this venue, the report contains exciting news of 83 people coming to Christ, and 20 being baptized in water. While we rejoice at this great report, we are even more thrilled to know that this is a common experience in this ancient Nation. Pray for strength for the Ruttens.
